Light The Night

I will be walking in the Light The Night walk for the Leukemia and Lymphoma society this coming Thursday (Sept. 10) in Birmingham.  I am part of the "A-Team" for my little cousin Anderson.  He was diagnosed with Leukemia in January at the age of 16 months.  He is the 'honored hero' for the Birmingham walk.  We hope to raise $5000 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma society.  Each participant is asked to raise at least $100 in order to obtain a balloon that lights up (hence the name Light the Night).  If you would like to sponsor me or my brother James Rasco in this walk you can click here then find our names in the team list on the right side of the page.

Anderson's mom (my first cousin Jan) and dad (Andy) have formed a new ministry called "A-Team Ministries" to help other families dealing with childhood cancer.  They hope to help families with physical, emotional and spiritual needs as they go through the process of chemo and dealing with this disease.  This is a link to their blog specifically about Light the Night.  There is a link to the PSA shown in Birmingham and they are the stars!  click here
