5 Months of Lilly

Lilly is officially 5 months old! What a 5 months it has been too. She's been threw a little bit of everything and now I think she is teething. Will the fun never end!?

Here is a picture of her at 5 months.  Isn't she just the cutest all posed for the picture.  Her hands made me think of some kind of glamour shot pose.  :)  Her socks don't match each other because each pair has one missing.  Eaten by the dryer I think.  They were my favorite because they stayed on better than her others, but I realized that day they are too small now.  Bummer.
Lilly is now eating baby food and today we had some carrots. While I was feeding her Taylor got to have a push up since he ate all of his lunch. I noticed they both had really messy faces and had to stop and take a picture.
Yes that is Lilly eating her lunch in the swing.  Daddy Wes forgot to get her highchair out of his car.  We are borrowing one that sits in a regular dining chair in an effort to not take up too much precious space in our kitchen.

It's not been too exciting around here lately. Lilly sometimes rolls over from her tummy to her back and sometimes she just fusses about being on her tummy. She holds her head up very well and she loves to stand on our laps.   I'm wondering if she'll start walking before she crawls.  She is very alert and now when I nurse her if I try to read a magazine while I'm just sitting there she decides to read it too and stop eating. This is causing some problems so I now have to just sit and watch her eat. I'm not very patient in this area as my children like to take their time when it comes to nursing and I end up sitting there 40 minutes.

That picture of both kids with messy faces is hilarious! Happy five month birthday, Lilly!

Harper is the same way when it comes to nursing... there just about has to be absolute quiet or she won't eat. If someone walks in the room or she hears a noise, she's done. I used to catch up on my Tivo-ed shows at night when she nursed before bed (she sometimes goes 40 minutes) and now she won't let me do that.
