Taylor was on a roll with funny comments tonight. It all started just after dinner. I was in the kitchen cleaning up and Wes was sitting at the table. We had the TV on the news and a commercial came on. You know the one about the Barack Obama commemorative plate. Well all I heard was Taylor out of the blue say "Did you see that crazy thing? Barack Obama on a plate!"
Take it how you will, but needless to say that had Wes and I in stitches for several minutes.
Later as I was putting Taylor to bed we were reading about the birth of Jesus in his new Bible. He pointed to Joseph and said that was God in the picture. I corrected him and he asked "well where is God in this picture?" So then I tried to explain to a 3 year old that we don't know exactly what God looks like or have a picture of him, but he lives in Heaven and in our hearts. With a very puzzled look on his face Taylor wanted to know when God was going to come out of his heart. I got the feeling he was thinking back to when Lilly was in my tummy and that she eventually came out. That was hard to explain as well so I just went with God lives in Heaven, but I know he's still thinking about the heart thing.
As I was tucking Taylor in he wanted to know how old Lilly was and when would he be 4, then 5, then 6...I said it would be many years. Then Taylor said "I can't wait til I'm grown up and married so I can sleep with someone."
Ok this comes from when Wes was gone in November. Taylor always wants to sleep with me when Wes is gone. So on the last trip I explained that he needed to sleep in his bed and that only daddy sleeps with mommy. Well he said something about others sleeping together and I wanted to make sure he knew only married people sleep together. So now he is very excited about getting married only to have someone keep him company at night. ;)
Sounds like we'll be in for a year full of fun comments from Taylor.

LOL! Taylor cracks me up. No telling what he's going to teach Lilly to say...
I put my thing up. The "6 Bits of Info."
Isn't it funny what all kids say. Gabe & Maddox both throw some pretty wild stuff out there as well.
