1. The Imagination Movers
LOVE THEM! They are a group of guys with a cute kid's show on Playhouse Disney. They play lots of really cool music too. Taylor loves to sing and dance along. He also role plays their "thinking" and problem solving from the show.
Their music is very hip and Wes and I both could jam to their CD. Taylor got the CD for Christmas (Thanks Avery and Anderson!) I was reading more about them on their website and I am really impressed now. We also saw that they will be performing LIVE in B'ham in February. Wes and I got real excited about that. You'd think we were going to an Elvis concert in 1975 or something. :)
The 4 Imagination Movers have different backgrounds not in entertainment. One was an elementary school teacher who came up with the idea. He wanted to present positive male role models on kid's TV. One is an architect, a fireman and one is the more musically inclined of the group. They all do a marvelous job on TV to me. I like that the songs are about manners and learning and "brainstorming". Who knew that brainstorming was a word a preschooler would know.
2. The Swaddle Me
Taylor had one of these and we used it a good bit for a few weeks. Now Lilly uses it every night! For a few weeks I thought she liked sleeping on her stomach like Taylor, but she has since changed her mind (guess she wanted to be politically correct :) She will not go to sleep unless she is tightly swaddled.
We got another one as a gift, but sadly these ingenious swaddle devices are getting too small for her. I did find that they make a large one for up to 7 months old. I think I'm going to have to make a shopping trip to find it. That is how we get at least 5 hours of sleep at night. Even her naps have to be snug. Sometimes I just wrap her in a blanket for naps and if she comes loose early it's all over.
So there you have it. The latest fads that I am really excited about.

Nicholas loves the Movers too and we also got the cd for Christmas. Fun. Maybe we will have to go with you in Feb. to the show.

We LOVE the Imagination Movers, too. Scott is my favorite, and Mover Music is our favorite song (in case you wanted to know).
We had the swaddle blankets for Will, but, sadly, he outgrew even the biggest size way too fast. A friend of mine made a larger blanket for me, as the regular baby blankets were too small to swaddle the big boy. It worked for a while, but he then outgrew the need for swaddling. Now he rolls all over the place!
We also love the Swaddle Me wrap, couldn't live without it. I went on a frantic search a few weeks ago for the large size and bought 2 of them. I'm sad to say, I bet she will be out of those by the time she is 6 months- too bad they don't make XL, or at least I haven't found one.
