Neighbors

Today Taylor and I delivered Christmas cookies to some of our closest neighbors. We have lived in this house 1 year now and we know the names of the closest 4. That is way better than we knew in our last house. Today we decided to go knock on another door and meet someone new. It was so nice to just sit and talk to some ladies today that I'm sure I could learn a lot from. I am literally surrounded by retirees and grandmothers except for one family adjacent to us that has little kids. I sometimes wish there were more young moms right next door, but I think that God knows best why I am in this house at this time in my life. Now I just need to listen to Him and find out why. Maybe it's just to be a friend to these ladies. They are all home during the day like me and I know how lonely I get maybe we should start having afternoon teas. :)
