Penguins

Yesterday Taylor made an interesting observation for a 2.5 year old. We were watching the news and the last story on NBC Nightly News was about how global warming was hurting the natural environment of Penguins. Well I don't know what my face said to him or if it was the tone of Brian Williams voice, but Taylor looked at me and said..."the news is sad." I tried to say that sometimes the news is happy too, but Taylor said "no, the news is sad." He's really starting to pick up on people's emotions. Hopefully he will see more happy faces in his life than sad. But he's right, usually the news is sad or rather it's emotional.
