So today Taylor and I left a sick Wes at home for a few hours. Not sure what he has. Sounds like a little bit of everything. He needed a break though so I imagine his body was just saying STOP. So with a Gumpy Gus at home, I took Taylor to school then I went to help a friend.
Toni is my best friend. We have known each other since about 1st grade. We were roomies at Auburn for a year and now both live in Montgomery Area. Toni is going to have triplets in about 3 months. So to get ready for a bunch of babies I went to help her get organized. I've come to love organizing stuff. I don't know why, but I really feel like having less stuff and an organized way of living makes life less stressful. So there we were, Toni on the bed directing me as I moved boxes and took stuff out of what will soon be a very crowded nursery. I can't wait to see those little babies though.
Well tonight after dinner I was cleaning up and found some change. I gave it to Taylor who is 2 and a half so that he could put it in our Agape Change for the Children Can. He dropped the money in and then sat back to look at the pictures on the can. Then he started singing the little kids prayer "God our Father, God our Father. We thank you, we thank you. For our many blessings, for our many blessings. Amen" It was the cutest, sweetest moment. I wish I had the video camera out for that. Made me think about how we've all been grumpy and tired acting all day, but Taylor (with God's help I'm sure) reminded me that I should be grateful for all my many blessings no matter what!
