June Heart Update

Lilly saw the cardiologist on Monday for the first time in 3 months.  It was actually the first doctor visit of any kind in 3 whole months!  That is a record for us this year.  Everything looked 'perfect', 'normal' and 'good'.  Those are exact quotes from the doctor and nurses.  He said that things are growing well as she is growing (17.1 pounds and 26.5 inches).

We are now able to just make annual visits to the cardiologist!  Yeah!  We won't see them again until next June.  I think I'll almost miss them kinda like I missed seeing my OBGYN after so many visits in 9months.  Oh well I guess it's good we like them, but better that we don't see them so often.

Today is Lilly's official 9 month birthday.  She saw the pediatrician today.  She looks good all over he said.  Nothing out of the ordinary and growing.  She is in the 25th percentile in weight and height and about the 50th percentile in her head.  Guess she just has a big head. :)

Taylor also got to see Dr. Bob.  He had his 4 year old check up.  The first official doctor visit for Taylor in a whole year!  I was surprised he hadn't even come in for a virus or fever all year.  Guess God knew I could only handle one at a time.  Taylor did have one shot which was not fun, but he didn't scream as badly as I thought he would.  He just whined about it 30 minutes after.  He is now 38 pounds and 39 3/4 inches tall.  He's in about the 50th percentile in everything.  

It was nice to have so many good reports.  I'll try to have some pictures of Lilly up later.  I haven't taken many lately.  I did get some the other day of her pulling up.  Yes she is officially on the move.  She learned to crawl, pull up, cruise and stand alone all in one week!  That started about 2 weeks ago.  I just know she will be walking by the end of July.  I'm just hoping she'll wait for Wes to get back from Africa.  Taylor took his first steps alone while Wes was in Africa.  It will be so ironic if she does it too!
