That's all?

Snow- All over the state it snowed today. We are in north Alabama where it is usually the only place to see snow and guess what...we didn't get any on the ground! It fell for about an hour this morning, but didn't stay around. So sad. I'm jealous of all the pictures I've seen on Facebook of people playing in the snow. Taylor is a little sad too, but he has gotten to watch lots of movies today since it's frigid outside, so I think he's over it.

This morning when the snow was falling we were a bit worried that it would be really bad so we chose to stay home from church. I was a little worried about the bridge we'd have to cross too. I didn't want to get stuck away from the house.

After awhile I felt a little guilty skipping when we really had no good reason to miss. I thought about how in China the Christians get together in the midst of all kinds of trials. Neither snow, nor rain, nor hail, nor the darkness of the "enemy" keeps them from meeting. I could have walked to church in the snow and it would have been nothing compared to what some of them experience daily.

May this be a lesson to not take for granted the assembly just because it might be inconvenient.
