Here's a quote that I liked from the recent Conde Nast Traveler magazine...

This may have been from a celebrity, but I really think he hit the nail on the head. The article was all about how he was working to help bring clean water to parts of Africa and using his celebrity status to make people more aware. While I know not all Americans can travel overseas, the ones that can should. There is so much more to our world than what we see in the U.S. or even on T.V.
