The Big Top

Well I feel kinda bad telling the world we just went to the circus after asking for ways to save money. :) We did go on the "cheap" night when it was only $12 to get in thanks to WSFA 12 sponsoring. (Too bad CBS 8 isn't the one to host that opening night. :)

The circus is one of Wes' favorite things. He went when he was about 3 years old for the first time and fell in love with it (and all kinds of show business). Taylor was most excited about all the animals and some popcorn. He was a little disappointed that there weren't any Lions.

We went with Jonathan, Kristin, Elijah, Miles and Ella to see it. Jonathan and Wes had seen the circus together a few times when they were younger and I thought it was cute to see them walking their boys in to see the show this time.



Now back to saving some money...a box of popcorn cost $6! Well when Miles and Elijah got some we offered to pay some for it so Taylor could share. Of course we were turned down by our generous friends, but Wes tried. He went to sneak the money into Jonathan's pocket and later Jonathan put it in Taylor's pocket. Well the next day we were joking in a conversation that Taylor had more money than we did. Well those little ears perked up and he said "yeah because Miles' daddy gave me some." :)
