Since Christmas Day Taylor has played many rounds on the drums, cooked us some hamburgers on his toy grill, rescued animals dressed like Diego and helped Mickey in the clubhouse. Also since Christmas Day my mom has entered the hospital and had 8 liters of fluid removed from her stomach and chest cavity. There are many reasons she had this problem mostly lifestyle and eating habits, but some hereditary issues compacted things. Hopefully this will be the final wake up call she needs to treat her body right. I stayed with her in the hospital last night. She was pretty loopy on some pain killers, but glad to see me I think. I wasn't too happy about that chair I had to sleep in, but I'm young and probably did better than my dad would have. Not sure what the rest of the weekend will look like. Part of me wants to be selfish and just say "you know it's your fault you're here so why do I have to suffer." But other parts of me say that's not the attitude I should have especially as a Christian. Hopefully she'll be home by Monday.
Well as we approach all the New Year's football games I just had to show off a picture of Taylor's new T-shirt. You can get one too at The Auburner website too.
