Summer Adventure

Wow it's been a long time since I wrote anything here. I'm not very good at blogging these days.

Well today I decided that I will start posting things about our upcoming family mission trip to Malawi, Africa. That's right I said FAMILY. Wes, me, Taylor and Lilly will all be going and it will be a wild ride I'm sure! But one we will learn a lot from.

Wes just got back from Malawi where a team worked on the water supply for a hospital and worked closely with the orphans of Mtendere Village. We'll be doing much of the same with the final goal at the hospital being the opening of a surgical center.

We are all very excited about going. Taylor went when he was 2 and that was an adventure for sure. He remembers a few things and now Lilly is picking up on the language we'll need to speak there. Chichewa is the language there and we try to use it as much as possible especially to greet people. Well Lilly has learned a few phrases except it comes out like this..."Muli Bwanji? Zikomo" really close together which literally translated actually means "How did you sleep? Thank You" We'll be working on that in the coming months.
