Yes drag racing. I know nothing about this sport, but spent 12 hours at the Montgomery Motor Speedway in the freezing cold last Saturday. Why you ask? Money. :) Many moons ago I put my name on the Alabama Film Office list as a production assistant. Meaning that anytime a TV or movie production is in the area and needs local help they look at that list. Well...
The Speed channel was video taping a "reality" show about drag racing that day. So they called me, but instead of helping in the area of video I was the gate keeper. :) I just made sure the VIP's (cable company reps) got to their suite and the crew got their passes. It was a long boring day, but an interesting time to sit and reflect during all the dead times at the gate.
I would have enjoyed more the TV parts, but oh well. If you want to see this particular episode of "Pinks All Out" it will air next August on the Speed channel. Enjoy! Warning...I heard plenty of 4 letter words that day, but surely they edit that stuff out.
