I am just so excited right now. Today has given me all kinds of good news. First Lilly had a great Blood Pressure reading this morning! The nurse was so happy you would have thought she won the lottery. We don't have to go back til November 4th now. That day they will do a more thorough check up with an echocardiogram, EKG and BP check etc...The doctor was very encouraged and said she was doing better than expected! Wow!
The next big news was that our insurance covered something more than expected. Lilly qualified for the RSV preventative drug. It is a shot given once a month for 4 months in the winter. It is VERY expensive...around $1000 a shot! We were told our insurance would pay 80% of it and we'd have to pay the other 20% each time she got the shot. So we were looking at an extra $200 a month for this shot. Needless to say that wasn't in the budget with our new car payment! We stepped out in faith and got the first shot (most of our family was willing to help us, but I didn't want to ask them). We were able to pay the first one since we've saved on groceries this month thanks to all who have brought us food!
However the doctor's office called this morning and told me that the insurance paid the shot 100%! So now we have a credit at the pediatricians. PRAISE THE LORD! The lady who called was shocked and didn't understand why they paid it all, but she was as excited as I was. God is Good and he provides so much. I have been doubtful and yet hopeful that He would come through. I went into the office last week to get that shot for Lilly thinking that my father would help. Then I realized that my Father in Heaven was the one who would really help no matter what my earthly father did and that God had already been in all of this from the start.
Praise God from whom all blessings flow. Praise Him all creatures here below. Praise Him above ye Heavenly hosts. Praise Father, Son and Holy Ghost!
Oh and my eye is getting better just very slowly...
