Wednesday nights I've been going to the teen class at church. I'm trying to be a "mentor" although I have no idea what I'm doing. I feel a bit old. I wasn't cool in high school 12 years ago and I'm really not cool now. :) I have been helping to teach the same group of kids since they were in Kindergarten and now they are 7th grade. They are so great and I'll probably learn more from them.
Anyway this past Wednesday the youth minister showed a video of Louie Giglio (one of Wes' favorite speakers). The whole talk was about How Great is Our God. Here's how the website describes it..."He's big enough to breathe out stars, yet intricate enough to fashion together the trillions of cells that make up every facet of who you are. The God who spoke the universe into existence made you, too, and knows everything about you. From the smallest molecule to the situation you find yourself in right now, He's aware of your circumstances and intimately acquainted with everything you do. And He cares about you and promises to carry you through."
Well needless to say this pregnant woman was in awe of how God works from creating HUGE stars in the universe to the tiny cells that He puts together to make a human. And while I don't know this babies name yet He does. He knows exactly how she will be and how I will be. It was a breathe taking video. You really should see the whole thing, but the kicker comes at the end. If you want to see it check it out on YouTube. I just have to say WOW! You can see most of the video in different parts on YouTube or order a DVD here.
